Finally confirmed then.
August 14th, Saudi Arabia.
Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury.

I can't wait!

hsf

1.) 17 May 2021 10:37:24
Looks like it's nearly there mate although I'll wait for both fighters to sign before I'm 100% confident.
If there was ever a fight made for Wembley this is it, hope they get the 2nd one there.
Also, hope the chasing pack don't hang around and wait for Fury or Joshua. Afew good match ups could be made between Wilder, Whyte, Usyk, Joyce, Ruiz Jr etc.

2.) 17 May 2021 22:48:13
Oh never mind, Wilder is STILL getting in the way. I really wish he'd just f. off already!

3.) 18 May 2021 08:34:39
Why do Hearn and now Fury keep jumping the gun? Maybe Bob Arum knew something we didn't all along. They r going to have to give Wilder bucket loads to step aside and that's even if he wants to step aside. Personally I don't think he will step aside, think he will take the Fury fight now. That's his chance for a return to the limelight, he not pass that to Aj and Fury.

4.) 18 May 2021 17:49:27
From what Arum said today it seems its going to be Fury v Wilder III July 24th.

5.) 19 May 2021 01:06:07
If that's the case then I'm done with Boxing and will not watch until it's been cleaned up.

I'm sick of these slimey rats constantly getting in the way of big fights.
Broadcasters, Promoters, Managers, Judges, Referee's the entire lot needs gutting.

I'm out.

6.) 19 May 2021 13:42:10
It really is crazy that this has been allowed to happen. Hearn must be raging, he's been flying round the world trying to get this deal done and the only thing that Arum was involved in wrecked the whole thing.

I say they forget about all the belts and just fight. We will all know who the number 1 is after that anyway. Seen afew lines saying it was a move by Arum to disrupt AJ's contract with Matchroom although I can't see any issue there. I do see this accelerating Fury's departure from Top Rank and Arum.

Boxing will never clean up its act mate if anything it will get worse. People have complained and articles written as long back as the 1920s about the state of the sanctioning bodies in boxing.

7.) 20 May 2021 16:27:58
How can we take anything Arum says seriously now? They say boxing is a young man's game, maybe that applies to promoters aswel.

Has anyone seen Fury's recent comments about Eddie Hearn?

I've got a funny feeling we may see Tyson Fury sign with Hearn after the AJ fight.

Talk of Canelo vs Saunders being cancelled as Saunders isn't happy with the small ring (current 18 sq ft, wants 24 sq ft) .

I assume it's just mind games (like in Klitschko vs Fury) but it's going around at the minute.

hsf

1.) 07 May 2021 10:27:35
The more I think about it I think it's going to be a close fight. I think Canelo will win but he could be made to miss at times. Saunders is tough enough to make it interesting imo.

2.) 07 May 2021 12:22:25
I've said this is going to be a close fight for a long time, I've always maintained that if anyone can give Canelo problems at MW or SMW then it's Billy Joe Saunders but, the closer it gets to fight night the more I just think that Canelo will be too quick, too smart and too powerful and BJS will end up getting stopped. I reckon a good result for BJS would be lasting the distance.

3.) 07 May 2021 21:53:29
Hmmm.
I really want Saunders to win. I've made no secret of my distain for the way that Canelo gifted everything, even when he fought Floyd he somehow managed to have a scorecard at 114-114.
I suspect that even if Saunders out boxes him for 12 rounds, it'll be a draw or a majority or split in Canelos favour. But I don't think Saunders will see the 12th round, I think Canelo will stop him with a body shot between 8 and 10.

Really hope I'm wrong.

There looks to be a lot of pent up 'C.V. anger' in the crowds for Ruiz vs Arreola. Fights and brawls happening all over.

This could get abandoned.

hsf

1.) 02 May 2021 15:29:16
Will watch later tonight. Couldn't stay up as working today.

2.) 02 May 2021 15:40:50
The fight was good, Ruiz got dropped in round 2 and also hurt twice in round 3. He doesn't look like he can take punches without the weight.

The Legendary Power of Lennox Lewis

hsf

1.) 21 Apr 2021 11:50:47
I've started to appreciate Lennox Lewis as the years go on. I think because I was a Tyson fan during his career I never give him the credit he deserved. But he was class, beat every man he ever faced in the ring and everyone in his era and even the next era with his win over Klitschko. Not many can say that. Great fighter, great champion.

{Ed001's Note - I think it was because of the issue of his nationality, was he Canadian or British thing, that stopped him getting the love he deserved. I always thought he deserved better and the only thing that stopped him joining the conversation of best ever was the lack of quality opponents at their peak for him to fight.} Become a Patron!

2.) 21 Apr 2021 17:33:54
Wow it got removed already.

Fml youtube really does suck ass right now.

3.) 21 Apr 2021 19:40:02
Yeah I agree Ed. When I look back I don't think he would have done much more in his career to be great. I never give him any credit for the Tyson win always thought it was him that ducked Tyson but recently found it was more the other way round. Like when Tyson paid him 4 million to not face him.

{Ed001's Note - yeah, he had the press against him so the reporting always suggested he was ducking people, when it was quite the opposite.}

4.) 22 Apr 2021 00:21:10
I still remember when they called him 'Chinny' after the McCall loss, so he went and had an absolute war with Ray Mercer to prove a point lol.

Also I've just found out why it got taken down. This is from BLTV himself.

"Your video is not suitable for advertisers because a boxer shown has a cut (Vitali Klitschko) "

This was labeled in the same category as 'Dead Body shown without context'

Sorry guys but a lot of time went into creating that vid, and because youtube didn't give me an appeal option, I have to delete, edit, and re-upload"

Wow what an absolute joke that is.

5.) 22 Apr 2021 18:59:26
It has been reuploaded.

6.) 24 Apr 2021 21:10:53
Cracker mate. Suppose when I talk about lewis now it should be pre Stewart and post Stewart Lewis? Yeah definitely mate. Lewis started to learn how to use his height and reach finally. I say this if Tyson Vs lewis happens 1986-1988, tyson wins. When it happened lewis was in his prime.

Once a Tyson fan always a Tyson fan lol. Ed001 seen on the liverpool page that your near writing your next article about Sugar Ray.
Can I ask mate?
Writing the article and doing your research has it lowered your image of him?

As I said below, this fight shouldn't happen. Wilder isn't right and he's going to get badly hurt.

Wilder is going to get hurt in this fight and it genuinely concerns me.

Too much has been said about the stoppage in the 2nd fight from Wilders side, which means the referee will lkely not stop the fight unless Wilder is unable to make the count, his team won't throw the towel in this time and he is mentally unstable.

I wasn't going to watch this fight anyway, as the way both fighters and their teams went about it angered me so much. So with that in mind as well as Wilders very clear mental instability, I don't think I'll tune in to watch, I think Wilders going to get hurt badly.

From watching the middleweight special of The Gloves Are Off on skysport a few years back, chris openly admitted to ducking roy. Saying "it would be suicide" to fight him at that time.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I think he could have been better than he was.

I think it was Ed001 who said that he or someone he knows watched him train and he spent 70% of the sparring session posing and flexing lol.

No doubt he was good though, would like to have seen both him and Benn take on the American middleweights at that time, like Toney and RJJ.

I saw it, what a joke. He allowed 2 more knockdowns to happen after the towel had been thrown in. What the hell.
